Purpose The Purpose of Beta Biological Honor Society should be to work as a respect and expert society for understudies of the organic sciences. Its exercises should be intended to invigorate premium, insightful fulfillment, and examination in the organic sciences, and to advance the scattering of data and new understandings among understudies of the life sciences.

About Tri Beta (TriBeta) is a general public for understudies, especially students, devoted to enhancing the comprehension and valuation for natural study and broadening limits of human learning through logical research. Since its establishing in 1922, more than 175,000 people have been acknowledged into lifetime enrollment, and more than 430 sections have been set up all through the United States and Puerto Rico.

Types of Membership Regular Members-Undergraduate Biology Majors (Bachelor of Sciences with a noteworthy in Biology, Bachelor of Arts with a noteworthy in Biology, or Bachelor of Arts with a noteworthy in Biology with grades eighth twelfth accreditation) who have finished 3 full semesters at TAMIU Associate Members-Anyone who is not a Biology major, has not yet finished the 3 semesters required, or does not meet the GPA necessities for general enrollment Graduate Members-Graduate understudies seeking after a degree in the life sciences or employees effectively included in the natural sciences Honorary Members-Individuals who are perceived by the part for their critical achievements as a scientist or extraordinary support of the section

GPA Requirments For standard participation just: Sophomore Standing (45 hours) 3.5 Biology GPA Junior Standing (70 hours) 3.25 Biology GPA Senior Standing (90 hours) 3.0 Biology GPA
