Gender uniformity Although the law commands measure up to pay for equivalent work, ladies have a tendency to win not as much as men. The middle month to month salary for a working lady was $710 BLZ ($355), contrasted and $751 BLZ ($374.50) for a man, in view of the 2007 Belize Labor Force Survey. The Women's Department under the Ministry of Human Development, Women and Children, and Civil Society is in charge of creating projects to enhance the status of ladies.

Persons with Disabilities Although the law does not explicitly deny victimization people with physical and mental inabilities, the constitution accommodates the security of all nationals from a segregation. The law does not accommodate availability for people with incapacities. Two schools- - the Cayo Deaf Institute in Central Farm and the Stella Maris School for impaired youngsters in Belize City- - and four custom curriculum focuses (situated in Corozal, Punta Gorda, Orange Walk, and Dangriga) for kids with handicaps. The Ministry of Education kept up an instructive unit offering restricted custom curriculum programs inside the customary educational system. Privately owned businesses, for example, the Parents Association for Children with Special Needs and the Belize Council for the Visually Impaired, furnished administrations to people with inabilities.
