In the hall of the Headquarters building is this beautiful show bureau gave by sections in Area IX in respect and memory of the present and past Alpha State Presidents from Area IX.

Items in the Cabinet incorporate a services scarf with the mark " Annie Webb Blanton, " the metal candle conveyed by part presidents when they were exhibited at state traditions, a minimal monogrammed with our Greek letters that had a place with originator Ruby Terrell Lomax, and International pins (not imagined) that had a place with Sarah Tobolosky, Alpha State President, International President, and 1984 International Achievement Award beneficiary.

These photos were painted by a craftsman from El Paso named Novak; the one on the left was given by Kappa, Zeta Iota, Zeta Pi and Eta Kappa Chapters in El Paso in memory of Ruby Lee Lafferty, Alpha State President (1965-1967); the one on the privilege was given to Bettye Mischen Dunbar and gave to the new central command in her memory by her significant other.

Various antiques and memorabilia are in plain view in the Conference Room. On the second retire are the scissors and strip from the opening of the Headquarters Building. The metal candle is a piece of the metal accumulation showed all through the building. Alpha State is the main state to claim a metal accumulation. The first metal was obtained in 1943 by Catherine Young Clack, Alpha State President (1938-1940).

On this inside rack take note of the hammers, Our Heritage marked by Eunah Temple Holden, bound duplicates of Lone Star News and tradition minutes, a calfskin bound Constitution, a clock gave by the Waco parts out of appreciation for Alpha State President Dorothy Stallings (1987-1989), and the metal President " s candle.

These racks contain a greater amount of the Alpha State Brass accumulation, different life stories, a letter from Annie Webb Blanton to Eula Lee Carter, a 1979 SW Regional 50 th Anniversary dedicatory vase, Songbooks 1-6, unique sheet music, and bound Convention Minutes.

In the Conference Room is the Wall of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society Founders. The middle photo is a marked photograph that was given to Eula Lee Carter by Annie Webb Blanton.

A visit to our Texas State Organization " s Headquarters Building is really a brilliant excursion. Alpha State individuals have a lovely home for holding our gatherings, leading the matter of our association, and for encountering our history and conventions.
